Coffee, a beverage enjoyed by millions around the world, supports the livelihoods of millions of people in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Among these millions, women play a major part in promoting a sustainable coffee supply chain. The coffee industry is facing many threats including climate change, pricing volatility, supply chain disruptions, and the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. Typically, women end up bearing a disproportionate amount of the burden from these threats.
Your investment will enable continued growth and success for the women in IWCA's 28 country network. Your support will help us provide much-needed capacity building programs for chapters in the following areas: access to markets and financing, ongoing training on the Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS) programs in coffee, financial literacy, and coffee cupping.
