The International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) is a global network of self-driven chapters focused on promoting sustainable livelihoods in their communities and united by the IWCA mission to empower women in the international coffee community.
Right now, the coffee industry is facing many threats including climate change, pricing volatility, supply chain disruptions, and the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. Typically, women end up bearing a disproportionate amount of the burden from these threats.
